The Wendell August Forge Process

Artists: Original artwork establishes the design for every piece.

Die engravers: The design is transferred into a steel die; hand-engraved pieces may carry the engraver’s hidden signature.

Craftspeople: Recyclable aluminum and specialty metals are hammered, formed, and carefully finished using the repoussé process.

A perfect addition to your home, it embodies the comfort, nostalgia, and warmth that make the holiday season shine. The plate was first put into metal using hand, hammer and centuries-old techniques by Master Die Engraver Len Youngo.
