The Nutcracker Prince Ornament (Bronze)

Forged in Tradition. Given with Love.

Handcrafted in America: Founded in 1923, Wendell August Forge creates heirloom-quality gifts in its Pennsylvania workshop. Each piece honors the stories, milestones, and traditions that bind us together.

Handcrafted with Heart and Heritage

Every Wendell August piece begins with an artist’s vision and passes through the hands of skilled artists, master die engravers, and dedicated craftspeople. Using century-old techniques rooted in ancient metalworking, they create a one-of-a-kind treasure worthy of the moments that matter most.

The Wendell August Forge Process

  • Artists: Original artwork establishes the design for every piece.
  • Die engravers: The design is transferred into a steel die; hand-engraved pieces may carry the engraver’s hidden signature.
  • Craftspeople: Recyclable aluminum and specialty metals are hammered, formed, and carefully finished using the repoussé process.

Wendell August Forge is the oldest and most celebrated forge in America. Special moments deserve to be remembered.

Meet the Nutcracker Prince. Meticulously engraved and hand wrought into a stunning ornament, each is adorned with Crystal. Inspired by the 19th century children's story and ballet, young Clara is gifted a Nutcracker Prince and magic quickly ensues. Soon the Nutcracker comes to life and Clara is taken on a journey that leads to a battle with the Mouse King and a dance with the Sugar Plum Fairy. In the end, she becomes his queen in the Land of Sweets. The Nutcracker reminds us that a child's imagination on Christmas is a beautiful and magical place. May we all, no matter our age, still experience a little bit of that magic each and every Christmas. Adorned with a 95th Anniversary handstamp on the back, this ornament celebrates nearly a century of American craftsmanship.
